Speed Paints

Here are some speed paints that took about 20 minutes each.
My wife got me a Wacom Bamboo so I installed it and was playing around with it today trying to figure it out and get used to it.
I had alot of fun but remember this is first time using a wacom and speed painting so don't expect the best. Go to my youtube (link on the side) to watch a couple of these in timeline format.

CAMILLE LEONE will feature live performances by V.Y.B. Dance Company, 10th Concession, Anye Cole, Ashley Wilson, Disco Dolls and more. A very special performance by Bella Danza (Artistic Director: Maria Capitano Pardo) will also take place. The concept of CAMILLE LEONE is the brainchild of Square One executive director Okesene Tilo. CAMILLE LEONE is a play on the word "chameleon." The entire event will revolve around various interpretations of a woman's identity and appearance by each artist. The event's theme colors are red, gold and green, a reference from the Culture Club song "Karma Chameleon." Guests of the event will be encouraged to wear a mask to the event to go along with the "mysterious identity" theme of the event. Additionally, masks will also be sold at the door. The promotional image for CAMILLE LEONE was shot and designed by Chris Zenger, a resident Square One artist and the creative director for OMG! Magazine.

CAMILLE LEONE will be open to the general public of all ages. There will be a $2.00 donation at the door. VIP Tables and Reserved Seating will be made available for purchase by e-mailing rsvp@squareoneflorida.com.

3 Headed Mutant Singer Zombie

This is a commissioned zombie mutant of PJ Harvey, Amanda Palmer, & Bjork. This is painted on 16x20 canvas paper using water colors, acrylics and ink. I really like how this turned out. I had so much fun on this one. Here is the finished piece and some progression pics of the pencil sketch, inked version and 2 steps of the painting process.

Dr. Twistid Paper Puppet

Here is my first attempt at making a Dr. Twistid puppet. This is the paper test to see if the pieces fit together properly. I think they fit perfect. This is just cheap printer paper. When I make the real one I will glue the pieces to foam board to make the puppet more durable and instead of blue paper for the hair I will use blue fuzzy fabric. I will also make a body for him. Like I said this is just the test run. I did notice a couple things I need to add but not bad for a first try.

I will also use this design to make a Dr. Twistid Halloween mask that I will offer as a FREE download for the fans. Minus the puppet mouth so it fits your face.

What do you all think? I would really like to hear your thoughts.
