We got a booth for an upcoming Ren Fair. They wanted period era stuff so am working on a couple new paintings. This is the first one. I used acrylics and paint pens. I had a blast working on this and really like how it came out. Let me know what you think and thanks for the support.

A truly wonderful show for us. Winter was a trooper giving smiles to passers by and hardly fussing at all. Not bad for a 1 month old. Weather was perfect and my wife sold quite a few necklaces and earrings and I sold a painting, some sketch cards, prints and stickers. All in all quite a success. I was also painting live at the show and below are some step by step shots and then the finished piece called Girl & Her Dragon Wagon.
Also sitting next to us was Jim Soldo and his style really amazed me. He would draw standing up with 2 different colored crayon type pencils looking down so basically upside down. The time it had to take to train yourself to do that is mind boggling I tell you. He was a lot of fun and gave my sister and I a drawing. She got a dog and I got the girl face (kinda reminds me of Pat Benetar). Go check out his web pages here (he was doing the ambidextrous drawing so check out that tab for sure) http://www.jimsoldo.com/ http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/jim-soldo.html
I found a piece of wood while walking the dogs that looked like Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas so I painted him on it at the craft show I was at this weekend.
Hi all
The Art on Central show was awesome.
I had a great time painting and talking to new people.
I sold quite a bit so the show was an all around success!
Thanks for the good times!
Here are some photos of my set up and progress shots of my painting.
I had one of my paintings (The Toys Have Turned) in a local show at Artful Living in St. Petersburg called "Under the Bed Exhibition".
Here are pictures of the show. Good Times
Got some card in the mail from a bank or something.
It had a pretty cool background so I painted this creature on it.
Acrylics, watercolors and markers.
A new painting from an older drawing. Been going thru my stash of drawings and got inspired to paint a bunch of them. This is for sale at my Etsy store if you would like to own it.
I've been painting a bunch of older drawings and this is the first to be finished. It is for sale at my Etsy shop if you would like to own this crazy dinosaur.
Always wanted to make my own Star Wars figure so recently I was looking in my bucket of spare parts for customizing and found some GIJoe parts, marvel legends arm and a Star Wars build a droid head and put them together to create this guy. Upon completion and after painting I really liked how he turned out and it inspired me to draw him. So in this post you get one of my custom toys and a drawing of that toy. Enjoy
Grave is a part alien, part cyborg sith who took up bounty hunting after killing his master. No one knows his true identity because everyone who comes into contact with him ends up dead or severely beaten about the neck and face area. That is unless your paying him a bounty but even then it usually ends badly for others :D
