Where the Wild Things Are Tribute

Was looking thru some old stuff and found this tribute to Where the Wild Things Are. I made the background in Bryce 3d and did the rest in photoshop. enjoy

Continuing with the "Twistid childhood memories tribute series". This one is based on the book by Maurice Sendak - "Where the Wild Things Are". I loved this book as a kid and I still have a copy. Even got to go to the Maurice Sendak gallery show at the Tampa museum of art. Talk about awesome. Anyway I really love how this one came out. Why oh why didn't I start using water colors earlier.

For this one I used water colors, colored pencils, black brush pen, silver paint marker and white paint marker.
