Wookie Rescue

I found a wounded and seriously depressed wookie at the flea market a couple weeks ago. He was missing an arm and the other arm wasn't connected to his body. I felt truly sad and had to do something for this poor injured wookie. I brought him home for $1 and began construction on his new limb. Here he is after the operation. I even made him a new bandoleer belt with sewing help from my mother in law. He is truly happy with his new cybernetic arm and threads and can get on with his life as a normal wookie. If you have any similar wookie rescue stories please share. One step at a time we will make this a better world for wookies.

Grave The Bounty Hunter Sith

Always wanted to make my own Star Wars figure so recently I was looking in my bucket of spare parts for customizing and found some GIJoe parts, marvel legends arm and a Star Wars build a droid head and put them together to create this guy. Upon completion and after painting I really liked how he turned out and it inspired me to draw him. So in this post you get one of my custom toys and a drawing of that toy. Enjoy

Grave is a part alien, part cyborg sith who took up bounty hunting after killing his master. No one knows his true identity because everyone who comes into contact with him ends up dead or severely beaten about the neck and face area. That is unless your paying him a bounty but even then it usually ends badly for others :D

Dr. Twistid Paper Puppet

Here is my first attempt at making a Dr. Twistid puppet. This is the paper test to see if the pieces fit together properly. I think they fit perfect. This is just cheap printer paper. When I make the real one I will glue the pieces to foam board to make the puppet more durable and instead of blue paper for the hair I will use blue fuzzy fabric. I will also make a body for him. Like I said this is just the test run. I did notice a couple things I need to add but not bad for a first try.

I will also use this design to make a Dr. Twistid Halloween mask that I will offer as a FREE download for the fans. Minus the puppet mouth so it fits your face.

What do you all think? I would really like to hear your thoughts.
