NEW NOTLD: Reanimated section and still shot

Here is a new animated sequence I did for the NOTLD: Reanimated movie and a still shot for same movie. I wish I had more time on it because there are a couple of spots I could have made smoother but not bad for 3 weeks worth of work. All elements were drawn by hand and then put together in photoshop.

go see the new NOTLD: Reanimated website here

Morbideastoid

This is a design I doodled out a few months ago but just recently inked and colored.
I did it for a toy design to put up on "Patch Together". Will have a link once it gets accepted. I wanted to design something that would be a cool steed for some of my action figures. I also made it a t-shirt that you can purchase at my red bubble shop.

I felt like drawing something surrealish and this is what came forth from my noggin.
I also wanted to experiment with color combinations.
I am pleased with the result.

This is a blog exclusive drawing. This was just a warm up while I was working on the Dawn of the Dead tribute (featured below). I wanted to draw a demon skull and this is what came of it. I think it's pretty cool. What do you think.

Toy of the Week - Tiamat

I'm going to try my best to keep this "Toy of the Week" feature going. I have plenty of toys to do it but sometimes I get a bit busy and tend to slack off on my online duties. So if I miss a week let me know and I will get something up asap. All toys that I post will be from my personal collection. I have been collecting toys since I was a kid so I have a lot of them. OK lets start this thing off shall we.

Tiamat from the classic Dungeons & Dragons toy line by LJN Toys Inc. will be this weeks toy. He is dated 1984 and he is awesome. Dungeons & Dragons was one of the coolest toy lines to come out of the 80's. The sculpts were beautiful and the features were great. I still think the cartoon is amazing. I wish this toy line would have kept going but alas all good things must end. Anyway go here to find out more about this cool as hell toy line. http://www.toyarchive.com/DungeonsDragons.html

Albrecht Durer: Art in Transition

I love the old woodcuts by Albrecht Durer and I was especially inspired by the apocalyptic series that he did. He truly inspired a lot of my works so when I found out that they were showing 100 of his pieces at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts I had to go. I went on the last day of the show and it was well worth it. I can't believe how great of an experience it was. The detail that man did in his works was just incredible. Thank you for all of your inspiration Albrecht. I am honored to have seen your work up close. It was a humbling experience.
